Managed Care Advisors (MCA), a rapidly expanding Consulting and Full-Service Medical Case Management Company, has an immediate opening for a self-motivated, detail oriented professional to support our customer retention and business development efforts in both the Federal and private sectors.

This position reports to the CEO and is an exempt, full-time position. 



  • Manage and optimize the user experience of the MCA website. Manage the website and be the liaison between marketing and the outsourced development team for backend problems, features and updates. Review results to understand traffic patterns, and sales results to optimize pages.
  • Oversee social media management of all MCA social media platforms including but not limited to blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Optimize and maintain MCAs digital presence and report relevant digital analytics via Google Analytics or other best-in class tools.
  • Oversee the tactical implementation of all marketing material and messages through the appropriate channels; Maintain and update MCAs website, advertisements, strategic partnerships, tradeshows, and other events.
  • Maintain marketing materials including: Product information sheets; Brochures; Proposals; Tradeshow materials; Press releases; Internal company documents.
  • Create branding messages in all MCA advertising and ensure that brand standards are met and are consistent in all marketing materials.
  • Manage the development, administration and production of MCAs Strategic Marketing and Communications Plan with the objective of customer retention and generating growth across the business.
  • Liaise regularly with all Product Managers and executive leadership to ensure consistent external and internal communication.
  • Work with Inside Sales position to support lead capture and nurturing of those leads.
  • Generate creative ideas: ability to create storyboarding, pitch ideas, and develop marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as company content/copy editor. Ability to ghost write in a way that captures others persons’ personality and spirit.
  • Research and understand the performance of offered products; developing marketing campaigns to improve product sales performance and customer satisfaction; similarly develop customer insights to segment customers and target offerings efficiently; measure and monitor results to understand program success and recommend enhancements for future marketing promotions.
  • Manage the proposal process.


Education & Experience 



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or B2G environment
  • Technology experience: Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office
  • Online experience: website CMS (primarily WordPress), CRM (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), social media marketing (Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Twitter), e-mail marketing (Constant Contact, Icontact, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Experience with creating and managing department budget
  • Preferred: experience in medical or healthcare industry


  • Top-notch written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; specifically can write and speak compellingly about our organization, mission, and goals and effectively tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Superior multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic team environment, managing relationships across competing priorities and objectives
  • Must have strong relationship management skills, be a team player and possess the ability to work across the organization with business personnel at all levels
  • Solid track record of performance
  • Ability to plan, lead and execute projects
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to execution.
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to communicate creative ideas effectively throughout the organization.
  • Local to the DMV area
  • Travel up to 15%; occasional weekends
  • U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Experience

  • Proposal writing experience
  • Government contracting experience
