Responsibilities

The Project Manager leads a dedicated team and ensures that all services are implemented and managed in accordance with client objectives and contract requirements. The Project Manager is the primary point of contact for the customer, monitors the progress of the project activities, and manages internal and external project teams in the successful execution of project activities. The Project Manager has a detailed knowledge of MCA's program, capabilities, applications, practices, and processes thereby providing the client with the most appropriate services.  

Primary Duties 

 

  • Execute project activities according to the project plan/scope of work.
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule to identify the duration of the project, dependencies, key milestones, deliverables and critical paths to ensure an effective and timely project delivery.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of services according to customer needs, objectives and contract requirements.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
  • Responsible for client communications including communicating clearly program outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate information in internal customer relationship and deliverable management tools.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customer supporting client retention.
  • Create, develop, and implement account process improvement(s).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ client service/account management experience in a professional health care, consulting or government organization
  • Experience in customer interface such as a liaison between the customer and company
  • Proven problem solving  and critical thinking skills
  • Work independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including public speaking and presentations
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel Power Point and MS Project)
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Ability to travel 5% locally and nationally
  • U.S. Citizenship
